JMS hosts events throughout the year:
Conferences
JMS holds a conference every two years to bring together leading academics in the field of management studies as well as promising new researchers. The conferences are intended to be inclusive with an emphasis on networking and development. Limited travel and accommodation bursaries are available for doctoral students.
Workshops
JMS holds workshops throughout the year in conjunction with other associations or institutions. The workshops are primarily aimed at junior faculty and later stage doctoral students in order to help them enhance their ability to publish in top tier journals, such as the Journal of Management Studies. Workshop proposals are considered by the General Editors on an ad hoc basis. Please contact Margaret Turner in the Editorial Office for further information or with any proposals for consideration.
Other Events
JMS regularly holds events and receptions at other conferences such as the AoM, BAM, EGOS, and other major international conferences. In addition, JMS editors attend a number of smaller conferences; please contact the Editorial Office for further information.
